These might be equal in popularity to my famous chocolate chip cookies. This is a family recipe, and I can promise you won’t be disappointed by them. They’re soft, fluffy, and melt in your mouth.
I don’t make them very often, usually just around the Christmas season, but they go FAST. The best part about these is that you can freeze them and they’ll be just as good when you take them out in the new year.
When it comes to the frosting, homemade is better, but if you’re in a rush, I sometimes use store bought (yeah, yeah, I know) cream cheese frosting. It’s fast, easy, and tastes great. The trick is to add a half a cup of powdered sugar so the frosting sets up on the cookies!
You could get creative with the decorating, but I usually slather the frosting on, slap some festive sprinkles on top, and call it a day!
