Homemade Biscuits

These biscuits are so fluffy and buttery, and the best part is they are extremely easy to make! They’re a great side to soups and other meals and they make excellent biscuits and gravy!

1 Tbs white vinegar
1 cup milk
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
2 Tbs baking powder
8 Tbs COLD cut butter

Add vinegar to milk, set aside. Whisk together dry ingredients. Drop pieces of COLD butter in and use hands to mix until crumbly. Add milk. Use hands to mix. Place dough on floured surface (flour your hands too) and fold it over and over to create layers. Press until it’s about 1” thick and cut with a biscuit cutter or floured glass. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 425°F for 10 minutes. Brush melted butter on tops and bake another 5 minutes.
