We are big fans of cookies around here. They are easy to pack for field meals and make a tasty grab and go snack during busy times on the ranch.
This recipe is a favorite around here. Super easy to make, these peanut butter cookies never seem to last long. Thankfully the recipe is easy to double if you're feeding a crowd.

Easy Peanut Butter Cookies

Easy, crowd pleasing peanut butter cookies. A favorite from the ranch!
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Farenheit
Cream brown sugar, butter, egg, and vanilla
Add peanut butter
Slowly add in flour, baking soda and powder, and salt. Mix well.
Roll dough into 1" balls and drop each ball into white sugar, coating it completely.
Place balls on an ungreased cookie sheet
Use a fork to gently press the cookies flat, making a criss cross pattern.
Bake 8-10 minutes
