Chicken Noodle Soup (with homemade egg noodles)

Chicken Noodle Soup (with homemade egg noodles)

Making noodles isn’t as hard as you think it is! Homemade chicken noodle soup is hard to beat, and the homemade egg noodles make this recipe even better. It’s best to make your own broth, but if you don’t have time (I didn’t when I filmed the recipe video below), try adding a couple tablespoons of chicken bullion to store bought broth. It helps.

Chicken Noodle Soup:

Egg noodles:
2 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons milk
1 1/2 (ish) cups flour

Mix eggs, salt, milk, add flour slowly, dough should be a sticky ball. Knead for a few minutes, rest for 10 minutes, roll out paper thin on a floured surface, cut to desired shape.

I measure entirely with my heart when making soup 😅
Minced garlic
Chicken broth (I used about 8 cups)
A couple tablespoons of bullion paste (if using store bought broth)
Seasonings you like (I used rosemary, sage, salt and pepper)
Chicken (I used a rotisserie chicken)

Sauté veggies in butter, add garlic. Add broth, bullion (if using), and seasonings, bring to boil. Add noodles, boil 2-3 minutes. Add chicken.
